Had a fun afternoon last Saturday listening to @robthor.bsky.social and @ianmooreauthor.bsky.social as part of Farnham Literary Festival. They both gave great insights into how they create their fantastic cosy crimes.

Firelight rainbows scattered across the walls.
Lightning quick, Mum scooped Ella into her hands and threw her onto the burning embers.

I love a bit of wordplay and just came across this: an anagram of "Pub's motto" is "Bottoms Up!" Brilliant.
