You can't...
I'd like to see intermediate make a return if I'm honest - far too many grade 6 students just feel like they've failed because they can't access so much of the top end of the paper. Soul destroying for them, when actually they're decent at maths.

You could have a maths GCSE, then a separate GCSE which takes maths 'further'...

The "don't have an extra kid if you can't afford it" brigade get awfully upset when you suggest they don't stay in their £2m house if they can't afford it, don't they?

You really could do anything!
The magazines were incredible, with cover disks full of demos and full versions of serious software- following tutorials and waiting a month to do the next stage. Imagine having to wait a month now! So much creativity came from just messing about.

We get students to write notes/examples in their books and stick any worksheets in- most work is done on whiteboards.
Book 'marking' is basically monitoring presentation, using whole class feedback based on mini assessments and checking understanding in lessons

It's extraordinary how many wise people still don't realise that much of the right-wing media and political establishment can *never* turn on Trump simply, and only, because he has made base bigotry mainstream & 'acceptable' again. 'Anti-woke' was always about being pro-racism, lies & misogyny.
