Every American should read this ACLU lawsuit about what is happening in Los Angeles and California. It is the stuff of dystopian nightmares. This is not immigration enforcement. It is positively stuffed with videos and articles documenting racial profiling on a scale unseen since Jim Crow.

Black graphic with text: "Know Your Protest Rights. You don't need a permit to protest in response to breaking news and you don't need a permit to march in the streets or along sidewalks, as long as you're not obstructing traffic or access to buildings. When you are lawfully present in any public space, you have the right to photograph anything in plain view, including federal buildings and the police. If you believe your rights have been violated, when you can, write down everything you remember, get contact information for witnesses, and take photographs of any injuries. If you get stopped by the police, ask if you're free to go. If they say yes, calmly walk away.If you get arrested, you have a right to ask why. Otherwise, say you wish to remain silent and ask for a lawyer immediately. Don't sign, say or agree to anything without a lawyer present. If you get stopped by a member of the military or any law enforcement office at a protest, you have the right to remain silent or to tell them that you'll only answer questions in the presence of an attorney-no matter your citizenship or immigration status.”Know Your Rights. If you're protesting this weekend, know your rights when interacting with law enforcement, including immigration agents.
a digital painting of an eye, with stylized proportions and rendering. Dithering and pixel brushes were used for the colors and shading, with minor touch-ups to darken the underside of the lashes. Light reflects onto the iris.

I explained it to several young teens today: imagine we wanted you to become more self-sufficient in the kitchen, so we decided to charge you $20 every time you got takeout. But also we have no food in the house, we won't let you go to the store, and also you don't know how to cook.
When I think of all the money lost by these people, I can't help but think of how that money could've been used - put into the arts, humanities & culture, public spaces, healthcare, libraries, education... It infuriates me
1. Incredible news for trans people in Montana.
A Montana judge has temporarily blocked the state's bathroom ban targeting trans adults in airports, colleges, and more.
He ruled that the state showed no evidence bathroom bans protect women.

A colorful, stylized study of a Purin plushie staring pensively into his namesake. His reflection is slightly warped and a little goofy looking, the glossy caramel emphasized by contrasting reflective colors and highlights. The plushie's texture is rendered with fluffy brushstrokes and imprints of shadow suggesting dimension.

I created a block/mute list for AI accounts so they won't flood your timeline during october art challenges. Just hit subscribe and decide to mute or block all at once. There are more than 150 accounts so far, and I'll keep adding to the list.

Hi, just a quick announcement, my old anti-AI list has now been upgraded to a general anti-art thieves list! ✨
My reasoning for this is that the two aren't that different, AI art is theft, and art theft is an attempt to deceive you to make you think they created something.
Anyway, enjoy! 🤍
