She watched him curiously for a moment before speaking again.

“So, you and Shanks are friends?”

She was gentle as ever when she took the berries from him. She gave a small bow of thanks to Crocodile.

“Great! What’s your favorite drink? I’ll make sure we have it in stock you.”

“Yes, I will. And will you stop by the bar some time for drinks? You’re more than welcome to.”

She smiled happily.

“It was no trouble at all. I actually really enjoy cooking so it’s nice when I can cook for someone.”

She shook her head while politely refusing the money.

“I really appreciate you wanting to pay me for it, but I insist it is a gift. No charge at all. And it really was no trouble. I am always happy to make someone a snack or drink. What kind of muffins do you like best?”
