But altruism is not what they tell the Dalai Lama when he says he must give his entire life for humanity to become enlightened.

Yes, but it can also help if more people are encouraged to think critically about themselves, regardless of the reasons or where they come from. Flying and everything else that harms the entire population on Earth shouldn't always continue and grow as if it were a good thing.

But if you consider that the tourism industry is partly responsible for the fact that the earth is becoming increasingly polluted, it supports the idea that everything is fine, like look how beautiful the ships are, the music and the drinks.
