I got my switch 2 at launch, and while I was not crazy about how much it cost, cuz yeah it's a hard pill to swallow. Now that I own a few games for it, & my library also loans out games for it. It's a bit more worth it now in my eyes than it was especially if you have a decent sized switch 1 library

The magnetic snap for the joycons also feels ALOT better than sliding them into the hinges. Everything UI wise is very snappy and quick. It all feels very... Refined?

Going from a cheap plastic laptop to a full aluminum mac-book esque product quality wise.

So I have a launch switch 1, in comparison the switch 2 is a bit heavier, the screen is alot more vivid and crisp, the eshop is FAST so actually browsing it is an option. The console and joycons are bigger which does feel better in my hands, the sticks are really smooth.

The exclusives aren't really there yet in terms of a "system seller" in my opinion since I wasnt really big on the choices they made with Mario Kart World.
But I can tell that much like the switch 1, indies will always be there picking up the slack while waiting for quality exclusives.

As for the few switch 2 games I've played? I've been pretty impressed. Resident Evil Requiem kind of blew me away with how good it looks and plays considering the hardware. DK Bananza was a good time and its ending segment is the most hyped a nintendo game has gotten me in a long time.

Honestly? Echoing some sentiment here the jump in quality is such a difference. Ive gotten so used to holding the switch 2 that the switch 1 feels like a fisher price toy in my hands in comparison. Not to mention the framerate bumps in a good amount of switch 1 titles have been such a nice change.
