tl;dr : i wasn’t embarrassed w yume’ing yoosung at 13 bc he comes from a game about dating characters where selfshipping is normal , but i couldn’t say the same for heizou bdjshdgahahsl

so technically i’d say that heizou’s the second f/o i’ve yume’ed 💔💔 yoosung was my first and im past my mystic messenger phase so yeha lol

technically doing the selfshipping for me bc it’s a otome/dating sim game 😭😭

ACTUALLY WAIT PAUSE i do remember having a mystic messenger phase during middle school and making a “custom mc” to ship myself with yoosung , but at the time i didn’t even realize that it classified as selfshipping bc i thought i was just redesigning the mc as me , and plus the game was already +

but the idea of selfshipping felt embarrassing to me at first even when i rlly wanted to ship izumi and heizou together 😭 it wasn’t until mid 2023 where i decided to give izumi a full redesign & also decided to officially ship her with heizou since i began to see others indulging in selfshipping lol

i’ve ofc always had some fictional crushes as a kid but i never rlly thought abt making an oc/self-insert bc it was never an idea i had 😭 heizou was actually the first character i started yume’ing and i even made a genshin oc during the time of his release (who turned out to be izumi) +

i think i’m okay with platonic/familial doubles but anything romantic is a strict nono for me ehureghhe i get all nauseous and sick 💔💔
