Mike Johnson's strategy to allow the Trump admin to do whatever it wants with zero oversight or congressional authority or input is just to keep the House out of session repeatedly for extended periods of time.

After reading a LOT, the 2 big differences I see between the turmoil of the 1960s & now are:

1. The sheer sociopathy of POTUS. Dude is wired like a clinical serial killer. We haven't had that before.

2. The open glee of the corruption/norm shattering & the trolling "try & stop us" doctrine.

Post from Pete Buttigieg that reads: If there was ever a moment for libertarians and conservatives to step up and join the rest of us, we’re in it.

Americans have to unite and stop this descent from a freedom-loving nation into the kind of place where masked, militarized government agents are sent to politically noncompliant areas to roam the streets, terrorize civilians, and deploy violence with impunity.

I'm so ready for this guy to be gone. We've got to do better. The executive branch in Alaska is too powerful to hand off to someone so checked out and isolated.

Is anyone really surprised that convicted rapist Trump is trying to force himself on Greenland after it said no?

If we're doing an economic civil war, then blue states need to prevent their residents from paying federal taxes

An explanation: You’re protecting pedophiles, jacking up prices, and spending taxpayer dollars to bomb foreign countries.

Americans are sick of your shit.

"Look, your stupid healthcare supplements were just spent invading a sovereign country without provocation and kidnapping its president to distract you from that Epstein problem. You're welcome!"

Donald Trump cannot be trusted to lead America into war. He is unaccountable to America. He is lawless. He only seeks conflict to cover up for his failures. Congress must step up and reassert its power. No more forever wars.

If we can capture another country's president, can another country come and capture ours? Asking for a friend.

Russia can offer much larger bribes and business deals to Trump, his family, and his friends than Ukraine can, and since Trump is the most corrupt and most compromised US president in history, that puts Ukraine in a tough spot

How Eunice Whitman’s Murder Became a Case With No Verdict Justine Paul was indicted on flawed evidence. A defense witness wrote that police should have treated no fewer than 12 people as suspects of “higher interest.” A decade after the killing, no one has b...

This is a story of a state legal system that failed every person it touched — especially Eunice Whitman.

Right, putin knocks out Ukraine's power, then trump suggests putin will 'generously' restore the energy, electricity & other things Russia destroyed at very low prices. How accommodating. Just get out of Ukraine!

I'm really surprised the people who openly lie, steal, break laws, laugh at congress, and worship an orange con man didn't release those files everyone has been talking about.

Who would have thought they wouldn't add to already incredibly large body of proof the guy spent his life raping kids?

Fiasco for Trump as Judge Issues Harsh Rebuke in Abrego Garcia Case Judge Paula Xinis’s ruling temporarily freed Kilmar Abrego Garcia from custody. It also savagely indicted Trump’s lawless handling of this whole affair from start to finish.

Remarkable how brutal the ruling against Trump on Abrego Garcia truly is: It details flagrant and malicious abuses of power all throughout. Trump and Stephen Miller were testing their ability to spread lawless state terror. But the court held the line. 1/
