Mike Johnson's strategy to allow the Trump admin to do whatever it wants with zero oversight or congressional authority or input is just to keep the House out of session repeatedly for extended periods of time.
After reading a LOT, the 2 big differences I see between the turmoil of the 1960s & now are:
1. The sheer sociopathy of POTUS. Dude is wired like a clinical serial killer. We haven't had that before.
2. The open glee of the corruption/norm shattering & the trolling "try & stop us" doctrine.
