I will add that I think LotR and Marvel specifically have done the most damage, but they certainly arent the only ones.

There is also ongoing debate on whether or not dark elves are dwarves in norse mythology, since the word svartalf/myrkalf (black/dark elf)for elves is similar to the word dökkalf (dark elf) for dwarves. So when dark elves are shown in anything there is no real precedent and it feels disingenuous.

There are small and spindly Jotün, there are 15 meter tall Jotün. Some Jotün are made of water, fire or wind, while some Jotün are horses, snakes or wolves. Loke/Loki is a Jotün which is why he is wild and uncontrollable to the Aesir, he embodies nature as a nature spirit. Elves and Dwarves as well.

It's Norse not Norwegian. I have yet to see any good interpretation of Jotün in any popular media. They're either turned into ogres, orcs, elementals or giants, while in reality they ARE natural spirits which often embody elements of nature, and some of them ARE giant, Jotün's main thing is variety.

Could be mitigated by making custom pronouns a separate setting

Would require people to understand subject-, object-, posessive-, and reflective pronouns, unless the game only uses say subject/object for example. Theoretically doable, but not as inclusive as it seems at first glance.

Made basic beginners guide to using the camera in storyboards. the gist being the camera is for revealing information & telling the story. Obviously there's exceptions to this, but when you're just starting out trying to get these ideas down first before moving on to crazier dynamic stuff.
