A two week old lemon pig, who has grown mold in its ears and mouth. The penny has fallen from his mouth. His lemon body sags low.

In case people were curious, my lemon pig did NOT age well.

Also I saw folks posting lemon pigs, so here is a photo from our new year's party, with many thanks to @adrianricker.bsky.social for organizing the craft section of the night. Every time I look at our pigs, I am filled with delighted laughter.

2024 was a wild ride for me, art-wise. It's like I couldn't sit still with one medium. Pins, gouache, watercolor, painted sculptures, digital. A real jack-of-all-trades year for me. Maybe I'll settle down with one type of art this year (lol maybe).

It feels weird, but remember that it never hurts to ask if you can be guested at a show. Worst case scenario is that you get told "no." Best case is you get a table comped, get featured in their socials/marketing, maybe some meal or hotel reimbursement, etc. 💖 You got this, good luck!!
