MUGEN is a engine geared towards fighting games. You know how Capcom Fighting Evolution stuck characters from multiple games together and it wasn't entirely cohesive? MUGEN is that times infinity (what it means). You can build game mechanics on a per character basis. It's as chaotic as it sounds
