I am at peace with her decision.

If today I were interested in infiltrating a secular gov’t (ie a Canadian provincial gov’t) with the values of my fringe sect of Christianity, I’d probably pick Alberta.

I can’t fathom holding a gov’t to account only to have a minister justify their decision as having been the will of their god.

Christian conservative activist and broadcaster Faytene Grasseschi, the defeated PC candidate in Hampton-Fundy-St. Martins last fall, says she has sold her Quispamsis home and moved to Alberta. "We are so excited to turn the page," says Grasseschi, who plans to write a book about her time in N.B.

I’d certainly be on board with supporting reform. Absolutely.

I briefly checked the RCMP website. Nothing about their policies stood out to me as being overtly problematic.

I wonder if, perhaps, the framework might be acceptable, but greater accountability is necessary.

I see.

I wonder if reform might be a more feasible option.

Have you reached out to the Minister of Public Safety to suggest it?

I read a book recently that offered warnings about some problematic, questionable academic journals. You may have heard of it.

Is it safe to assume that this journal is not affected by such issues?

An important book. If you’re concerned about the dissemination of mis/disinformation - and you should be - then read it.

Hunky Dory spent about 3 weeks on repeat for me in spring of 2022. Now, it’s probably on once a month. Solid gold.

US Air Force to deny retirement pay to transgender service members being separated from the service The U.S. Air Force has decided to deny early retirement options for transgender service members with 15 to 18 years of service.

These Americans served with honor for more than a decade. Put their lives on the line. Trump fired them, just for being who they are-and now is denying retirement benefits our nation promised them for their service.

Treating troops this way is dishonorable, unfair, & harmful to national security.

I’m not familiar with fire classification but, by its nature, wouldn’t an out-of-control fire be specifically defined as a fire that poses extreme containment problems?

I wonder if Prime Minister Carney is considering inviting members of the opposition into cabinet. It’s not unheard of. I wonder if such a move would be helpful in promoting unity. If so, I wonder which MPs might be best suited for any given portfolio.
