Haha nah bro I must have either disconnected the mic because OBS sucks caca and didn't detect it or OBS updated and broke settings. I have an AT2020+ condenser microphone so it can't be at 100% otherwise it sounds awful lmao.

TBH it's funny cos it does seem like something i would do as a bit, but nah my audio settings had borked and i had no clue of knowing. I can only assume people had my stream muted or low cos GOD DAMN it was like Xbox 360 quality peaking of the mic.

Looking at my VoD from yesterday's stream allowed me to find out my microphone has been peaking the audio really loudly, i guess OBS had reset my microphone settings back to 100 and turned my compressor filter off, so that's great. 😥

I use it usually as a benchmark sometimes to test older windows laptops that i'm trying to get working with gaming too haha.

Fuck yes bro! I love that it's still got support for it through JJ2+ and the Jazz2 Resurrection builds so they can still play well on normal hardware. The music and levels are fun and memorable, gameplay is so good for a platformer/sidescroller, pixel art is overall beautiful. A classic.

The combat isn't the worst but it's not perfect and it ends up being a slugfest of finding the best weapon combo to one shot enemies or melt a bosses health. And out-heal and/or use the shield to tank damage cos the dodge/grapple hook doesn't feel like it works well enough in most situations.

If you can look past the hurdle of the combat in Atomic Heart being inconsistent, it has so much to offer. Especially if you get the gold edition/season pass cos they give you all the major DLC. Each feels like an expansion and its own identity and feel with a lot of lore and world building.

Atomic Heart's final DLC took me like 13hrs and 20min or so according to the stream-time. I'm very tired and skipped having meals today unintentionally cos i was hooked, (i snacked and kept hydrated tho). I adore that game for the absolute fun i have with it.
