Excited to join Prof. Lingjie Liu’s @lingjieliu.bsky.social group at @upenn.edu for a research internship soon! Looking forward to the research ahead!
A telltale sign of a scientific mind is the openness to investigate.
Dismissing ideas only on face-value is analogous to being illogical.
The life of a fad ends when another starts
The effects of lowering attention spans will have many downstream effects. To understand, try this simple thought experiment:
Imagine the general population’s reactions after learning that there is life elsewhere in the universe?
Now how do you think the reactions will evolve in a week? 2 weeks?

The new Mumbai-Delhi expressway is impressive. Pretty much like the US Interstate highways.
Although I really don’t know how they collect data in transportation research …
If you want to experience high entropy, come to India. The emergent vehicular patterns are fascinating!
Not sure about research, because it’d be very difficult to collect replicable data unless it’s a highly curated environment which defeats the purpose really.
Yeah, I was just telling my dad that since there are no lane markings, everyone is just making them up in their head, which most probably are not the same for everyone leading to so many tiny errors.
