what if you reduce the margins oh so slightly...because I found I could make a 1.5 page minimal paper a 2 page robust document right quick.

Regarding reducing - in working w/ students on probability questions, they are often surprised when I suggest that not only is reducing NOT necessary, the un-reduced form provides better information. 10/36 as the probability of rolling a sum of 8 with 2 dice provides information which 5/18 doesn't.

Except the question doesn't say "evaluate", it says "work out". If the intent of the question is to assess student understanding of simplest forms, then this should be clear in the prompt.

Yep. Always need to keep in mind what the intent of our questions are. If we're assessing a parallel skill, we need to make that transparent.
