Archie looking shamefaced
It's a good deal harder to sell that you can't possibly trot in the school when Mum and Uncle G had to chase you and your mate around 3 muddy fields just to bring you in.

If she manages a canter she'll probably want a parade

Dear Lordy. You would think she'd solved world hunger how excited she was. All Mum did was 2 long sides of trot under her own controlled leg power. (No using my bounce or reins to help) both reins. Apparently this is a milestone. Oh and she got on and off without help. Ok, I'm a little bit proud ๐คซ

Mum is struggling with rehab after her injury. It allegedly takes a lot of mental effort knowing something is going to hurt but doing it anyway. Yesterday aunty C joked 'shall I punch you in the face to take your mind off it?' Followed by much hilarity, so, today I stood on her foot... twice.

In the meantime I have a new field mate. His name is Boris and between you and me, he's a bit of a needy princess. If Mum comes he has to have cuddles, before me! If I go in he has literally charged through me, mum and an electric fence not to be left behind. FYI I may or may not have gone with him.
Dad is still taking us hurtling around the countryside. He's fine.
We didn't move, let alone ride!
And I mean proper stuck stuck. I thought we were going to have to get the forklift to get her off.
Needless to say, she didn't repeat that nonsense for a while. #CallYourselfAnEquestrian #HowBadCouldItBe #IBrokeMyMum

So the mothership turned up, week 3 making a big fuss about getting back in the saddle. Secretly she thought she was going to impress everyone with her miraculous comeback.
She managed to get on (after a fashion) and couldn't even sit up. Much egg on face (which was in my mane coz she was stuck)

So, I apparently proper broke my mother.
My bucking bronco routine resulted in a rather unpleasant 3 months of her being in agonising pain and not being able to walk, ride, sit or lie down comfortably. She has verbalised more than once she'd have been better if she'd fallen off.

When your Mum asks ChatGPT what you'd look like as a person. The second one, she's obviously just suggested dressage.

Mothership and car ended up in a ditch. It wasn't a dramatic crash, more a graceful slide into catastrophe. It took 3 burly men, 2 landrovers and 2 1/2 hours to rescue her. No mothers, furrys or (surprisingly) cars were injured.
Here's a photo of me telling my field mate.
Rude!

The mothership has done herself a mischief. Apparently her legs are not working which may not have something to do with me doing a bucking bronco down the school and not being entirely forward going (and she's the fat wheezy kid) I'm obvs being helpful (Mum spoiler alert he was not helpful)
I suspect that's small comfort to the worry wart ๐
Mum hadn't
I could try hopping?
I was nice to her, now we're back to normal.
It's going well thank you, how's Lily's
Thanks ๐ฅฐ
