I also wasn’t a huge fan of the teen slasher, but I *love* Only Good Indians and Buffalo Hunter Hunter, so it’s worth giving it a go! A great things about SGJ is he writes in a variety of subgenres, so there’s something for everyone.
I’d especially recommend the audiobook for Only Good Indians.
