Shout out to the Canadian Women's Rugby Union team. Semi-pro at best, had to fundraise to get to the World Cup, have just beaten the unbeatable New Zealand Black Ferns and are in the World Cup Final. #RugbyWorldCup2025

Very stern looking grey building with a number 5 on the front. Colleague suggests brutalist, date is 1930.
Slightly delayed "looking forward to see you at EuroMedLab" post for Tuesday due to the strike. Amazed to see how many people have made it in.
Abstract fountain sticking out of the side of a building in Brussels. To me it looks like a very angular dragon. The right side has pointy horns then there are four waggling horizontal lines and the left side has a sticking up bit that could be a tail.
If anyone is in #Brussels for EuroMedLab, please come say hi if you see me. Binding Site are at booth 313-317.

Despite its fearsome reputation for danger and toxicity, fluorine is seen by medicinal chemists as an old friend. As columnist Derek Lowe explains, that’s because – like a criminal Godfather – it offers several benefits that no other element can match.
Once again
I have successfully kept all of my students from unintentionally harming themselves in lab.
Safety is my #1 priority.
