I’ll be honest. I have a sick feeling in my stomach about this. About ICE’s new budget. About the citizenship database. I just have a really sick feeling. The only way we survive this is together. We need to work together. In ways we never have before. Collective action is the way.

I don't understand. Have all six been bought or threatened? It seems that Alito and Thomas and Kavanaugh have been for some time...but the others? Who can make this make sense?

#BREAKING: Over a (sharp) public dissent from the three Democratic appointees, #SCOTUS clears the way for the Trump administration to remove migrants to third countries *without* giving them an additional opportunity to contest whether they face persecution or other forms of mistreatment there:

I have experienced this myself also. It's super disheartening. I haven't given up on Bluesky, but we sure do need a broad coalition of resistance right now and I wish Bluesky was a place to gather it. I deleted by twitter account and don't want to go back to it.

I'm Eileen Laubacher. A retired Rear Admiral and the Democrat running against Lauren Boebert. I know what sacrifice means and service looks like. Boebert doesn’t have a clue.

Can you help me get to 5k followers to show her we can do this?!

Opinion | Why Trump Is Mad at the ‘Sleazebag’ Leonard Leo

When there is a conflict between conservative legal principles and Trump’s demands, conservative judges almost always adhere to their principles. Members of Congress do not.

It's like the Hunger Games. Horrifying.

the single best thing democrats could do to win back trust with voters — and a good number of those voters who have a low opinion of the democratic party are democrats themselves! — is adopt an aggressively partisan orientation toward republicans and loudly perform their opposition

Believe him.

And saying this in front of the troops makes this particularly un-American.

I desperately want Trump to be impeached and imprisoned along with his cabinet and enablers. I'm engaged in every meaningful action toward that goal in my community I can. I'm interested in strategy. I was sincerely looking to engage and asked a good faith question.

I do and I read several other sources thinking maybe I missed something but didn't find any connection. But then, why quote the above article if it doesn't say what you're saying? You could choose to just explain it, instead of insulting. I don't get it.

I know there is debate on queer messaging. I don't see how it came out here- I've read that they want to focus on the massive Medicaid cuts and spending bill, that Thanedar is just trying to get support in his personal primary, that the impeachment articles are centered around obvious corruption

I don't understand how this article relates to Democrats internal debates on queer messaging...

How on earth is this not seen as a security risk? A foreign government making a plane where classified conversations will be happening?

Nothing to be scared of here in political terms. One of the least popular presidents is now even less popular than he was in his first term. People need to come out from under rocks.

"Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters."

Bone chilling.

A court ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia to stay in the United States.

The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that he was illegally removed. Trump is pretending he won the ruling 9-0.

1/ You may not think this case means anything to you. But let me tell you why it does.

Thank you for putting this out there so plainly.

9/ The tariffs are DESIGNED to create economic hardship. Why? So that Trump has a straight face rationale for releasing them, business by business or industry by industry.

As he adjusts or grants relief, it’s a win-win: the economy improves and dissent disappears.

I'm thankful for those writing about this. I've never been in the SBC, but in circles close to it & I've watched high profile people defect from it like Jimmy Carter, Beth Moore & Karen Swallow Prior. Millions more need to leave. Speaking clearly that Mohler has given himself over to the devil helps

So I'm adding Cory Booker to this list of people stepping up and giving us hope. And also Bernie Sanders...not the young voice that will lead us into the future, but he gets points for what he is doing and puts the young people to shame!

About 50 of us showed up today for #teslatakedown in Littleton. A little cold, a little wet didn’t keep us away. @teslatakedown.com @alexwinter.com

Trump IS the security risk. We can only hope that our former allies can hack their way in to find out what we're doing.

FWIW, about 24 hours ago I was told by someone who is plugged in and sharp that the most likely Yeses were Schumer, Hassan, Peters, Durbin, Schatz, King, Shaheen, Fetterman, Cortez Masto and Gillibrand.

KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

CALLS ARE WORKING - it has bought us precious time, but we NEED to keep the pressure up.

Tomorrow is the cloture vote.

KEEP CALLING: (202) 224-3121 ☎️☎️☎️

Tell your Dem Senator to vote NO on Cloture and NO on the Republican spending bill.

Do NOT assume your Senator will be good on this. Trust me.

For me, I'm thinking of family members - it takes a lot of listening and gentle challenging. There is a strong relationship that makes both sides not want to give up. I think voices like Russel Moore can be more compelling for them.
