about 5 years ago, I gave a 5 minute talk about tariffs for my local chamber of commerce. Unfortunately, it is still relevant today. 10 utils to anyone who can beat the one comment the video received... that's not about the amazing still picture...

Not that I do this, but it is possible the reviewer uploaded bullet point comments to chat GPT to put together a report. Or wrote the report and asked AI to make it sound more professional and/or "polite"... unless it was reviewer 2 who obviously didn't even read the paper.

Seeing that the threat of tariffs on Mexico and Canada are not taken away, but merely paused reminds me of Pierce and Schott (2016 AER)... threats of tariffs alone are distortionary.
