Frequency of healthcare utilization in the outpatient, inpatient, or ED settings as patients approach the date of diagnosis (day 0) for Patients with JIA or inclusion in the cohort for healthy controls. The visit frequencies are weighted to account for the numbers of patients versus controls

Analysis of MarketScan data showed patients with JIA had high healthcare utilization for at least a year preceding diagnosis. Patients insured by Medicaid received more ED & urgent care and less orthopedic care vs those with commercial insurance
