When I hit 65 and was about to retire, my husband persuaded me to have a personal trainer - ‘til then I’d never even been in a gym. I shall be 74 in November - 9 years in, I’m fitter than I’ve ever been, lift weights (PB 95kg), skip, box, do a mean burpee - and it’s such fun! Age is just a number….
