Maybe its just game journos writing shlocky articles but just because the director of baldurs gate gave an opinion on some random industry thing doesn't mean it deserves an article or we should all care or take it as gospel

He's not exactly had flawless takes either so whatever

I have now finished RE4!

I really enjoyed it and despite the controls I got into a good flow eventually. Characters and story were fun, diverse areas too

Only real downside is the ending chapters were mostly just more enemies but in a small space and less fun to fight

Otherwise it was great: 8/10

The game industry’s obsession with graphics is so funny because every other year there will be some breakout hit called “Stick Figure Mansion” or some shit that outsells 90% of the market and runs on a toaster

Gotta be the suits of the company, can't imagine anyone who worked on the game hands on would be any sort of happy with this

Its like they don't realise that graphics and art direction exist together or that it intentionally doesn't look like that

Nvidia sure loves the superficial and slapping filters on people's work so its not like they'd understand or care 🙄
