Not even as a community thing. Someone who isn’t saw my shelf of things, chuckled, stepped close enough to look slightly down at me, leaned in and said “You are such a dork”.
Never thought anyone who wasn’t a fan would find it cute.

I think I just found the car belonging to the person in the world most insecure over the size of their penis.

There is something deeply weird about that place.

I don’t think you can go wrong with the black, but I do prefer the underwear of Option 2.

I swear that it seems all I’m doing this summer is getting paler and paler. On the plus side I have finally shaken off my bizarre heatwave cold. Maybe now I won’t look so peaky.

“All human beings should have the same rights, but if the rights of trans women come into conflict with the rights of what you call 'cis' women, then the latter must take precedence.”

But…why?
Because there are more of them?
These people spout such absurd and imbecilic nonsense like pronouncements.

Two women on the train who, if they were friends, are probably back to being acquaintances:

“Sophie was surprised you hadn’t heard of them”
“It must be that I’m much younger than her 💅”
“Oh? You don’t look it ”
“😐😡”

Didn’t the weather know I’d actually quite like to sit inside this morning and play games?

Me too, although I have been at such nights the barest handful of times. I think you need a switch in your brain to flick off for that to be the idea of a fun time.

Sort of fascinated with there being a whole sector of musicians, DJs and noise that gay men of a particular age attend live, but where it’s not really the music, it’s just the one where they can be in a space shirtless with other gay men with the same body type.
Do they listen to it at home?

It is recognition/credit you didn’t ask for, so there is that.
But when said author is clearly leveraging being nominated for their category, and the organisers foolish and unwise, it rather invalidates any prestige for you anyway.
You could acknowledge it but say why you might not show up/attend.

Not that it’s the point when it’s a case of someone doing their job, but as lots of TERFs are talking about clothing retailers, and who they claim are men being involved in ‘Women-only spaces’, have they stopped for a second to consider just how many male fashion designers there are and have been.

Revisiting Instagram but also done classic sub-tweeting. I have no idea who on earth either person could possibly be too, so plus ça change.

One of the commentators on the Alcaraz-Struff match just asked Tim Henman: “Does it help if you try to serve-and-volley more?”

Sir.

Walked towards my bedroom door and just as I was thinking about reaching out to open it, it swung open.
I know that it’s just because the balcony door and bedroom window are open and created a sudden wind tunnel, but as I walked in without breaking my stride I felt like Storm.

Reality could only stretch to PS1 graphics today.
Should be romping around Shadow Moses Island rather than London.

Bunsen and Honeydew as Ed and Larry, and I’m not sure I’d want Stadler and Waldorf as every Republican they encounter (with no explanation, just quizzical glances) or if that was where they would have the guest cameos.

It’s not ‘so bad that it’s good’, but a show that goes to superhuman efforts to make you ignore the problems.
As a concert performance, it’s genuinely great.
As a story about the life of Eva Perón, it’s a disaster.

So, it’s all over the place, the plot gets near-totally lost, and it’s ‘Glee does Evita’.
But, to cover that, they ramp everything else up: the orchestra, the choreo, the smoke machine, the lighting, the energy, and the men.
And given much of that is exactly what you want in a musical, it does wow.

I know people who do get a little overwhelmed from the choice (and feeling they’d get the wrong thing), although I love food and like having everything available. Best I advised someone was to be led by how much time you have to cook and the weather. And sometimes think of dessert first.

Infuriating when, particularly on topics like pornography, they either haven’t considered why it exists in the first place or expect someone to speak up for it. Presented with a moral-high-horse argument, and painting those who might enjoy some acts not just as deviants but as dangerous or stupid.

We have actual laws that say murder is wrong and that you shouldn’t drink and drive. People do those things, and will. But shows of support to minority groups help to reinforce that they are, at least in some way, seen within society and (ideally) don’t have to be afraid the hegemony is against you.

“An ‘evidence-based’ approach”?
What even is that in the context of support for LGBT support?

They’ll only put up a Pride flag if they see a drop in homophobic attacks?
Indeed if you find that you are doing things that aren’t working, the solution is ‘Do more’ not to give up and do less.

I don’t particularly like the term, but I made some blondies. Banana and Dark chocolate, with a peanut butter cream. They’re not as heavy as you might think, but they are deliciously filthy.

There’s a dog in Warwick that is not coping at all well with no longer being the centre of attention, or the cutest thing, in the household.
You hear of dogs bonding with babies, this one keeps stealing its toys.

Of course it would be ‘greige’.

But also, what exactly do they think is going to happen when we get a blustery day?
