I planned to drive 2.5 hours to meet my friends for a prerelease on Friday, but I got stuck in traffic and the drive took 3 hours. I assumed I couldn't enter anymore, but the store let me enter with 20 mins left in deckbuilding. My friends helped me build my deck in time and I proceeded to go 3-1! 😄

I wouldn’t play around Daze on their own Twister bc that’s the only counter that gets us and we have no evidence they have it.

If they saw Subtlety/FoW in g1 or 2 I’d hold Subtlety + Jace for Solitude; otherwise I’d pitch my hand. I think they’d just Solitude first if they didn’t suspect a counter.

Today my opponent played a deal 5 on my 0/0 incubator with 3 +1/+1 counters on it, but I had Phantasmal Form targeting both halves of Norn’s Inquisitor to counter it, draw a card, and deal them 5 extra damage. :)

Just played an epic game of Codenames. I was spymaster with 3 words to go: NURSE, BOARD, and OLYMPUS. I said “ethics for 2” and they got the former 2. The other team had 1 word left, so we needed to luck into the win. Recognizing this, someone closed her eyes and picked randomly. She picked OLYMPUS.

For people familiar with “end of turn Fact or Fiction, you lose,” you can probably guess the string of letters I typed when I saw someone go 3feri uptick into end step Stock Up 😄
