It is a shame, that album (along with Aqua) was always one of my favourites of his, had original pressing. Froese and TD were such a substantial influence on my musical lineage it is hard to put in words, discovering them as a young teenager made me who I am today..

I sympathize, but don't have any answers, in many cases AI songs posted ahead will also trigger false copyright claims, what you suggested I already done, I just post everything of mine name-your-price on Bandcamp and have stopped worrying about distribution and fighting the system

I just was meandering through my Bandcamp settings and realized I had it set to (?default) only 3 streams before pay demand. I removed that so all my music can be be streamed as many times as anyone wants. Sorry bout that...
As I continue to be adrift in a sea looking for my audience, the other day I created a playlist of all my past work. It is hard to critically assess what you are producing when you are producing it and only time can separate you from the process. What surprised me is that my opus is not that bad
I was thinking that in a way the music I produce is like a tree falling in a middle of a forest with no one around, it makes a sound that is lost in time, it has a substance but is not perceived...what is this moment, what has it given me? Hence this was the sound, one fallen tree

e:VENT has been fairly quiet these past few months, been working on technique rather than new material, and upgrading software. One of my faves #Samplitude got migrated to a new company BorisFX and just got the new version installed and am surveying the changes. Also expanded my VST3 library..

It seems public pressure does do some good, I see that Soundcloud has clarified their use of artist content for AI training effective July 1, after probably was a big outcry. I had pulled all my finished material from the platform, but may start limited use of it again. Small victories....

Think it may be time to boycott SoundCloud due their statement of all materal is open for use as AI training fodder...in contrast BandCamp TOU is clear "Bandcamp will not use your music to train models to generate music or allow others to do so", just leave things there. #boycottSoundCloud

I think I literally have every track Geir has put out...as Pieter Nooten was to Xymox, Geir was to Bel Canto. Biosphere a major influence for my work...
So I will say that recently I have taken a pause from creating new music to spend several hours each day working on piano skills....making a lot of progress, but sad I am not putting out any new material....should be able to get back to that soon.
