In the NMR facility it was the reference board that was broken.

In our case it was a broken SCU that did no longer boot properly.

Congratulations! Well deserved.

We use teflon tubing for water critical parts before the chiller.

So why did they change it? Is it cheaper?

We sometimes make liqueur or chutney out of them. But yes it was more than I expected.

I just made 45 jars of quince jelly but with a steam juicer. Our tree in the garden had almost 30 kg of quince. We never had so many before.

While roaming in Paris, you can typically use all available networks while at home you can only use one. Therefore it is likely that the coverage provided by all networks is better.

But the worst problem are devices that rely on external servers. Because there is never a guarantee that they will be supported for more than the lifetime of the current management. I avoid them at almost all costs.

I agree, this is a problem but probably not for washing machines/dryers/fridges and stuff like this. They might not get new features but usually this is not a problem. TVs are different since they have to interact with the outside.

Why would you connect a fridge to the WIFI?

"High field" is in the same league as (ultra-)fast MAS.
