Day 7 of ❄️ Daily Document December ❄️

- A senior dev recommended I practice communication by explaining code to a non-technical person. I attempted "FizzBuzz" with my brother.

- Their feedback: I explained each step thoroughly but forgot to explain how I tested the code.

I can relate. When that happens, I accept being a night owl temporarily. Slowly fix my sleep schedule for the next two weeks only for it to happen AGAIN! 🫠

@scrimba.bsky.social Thanks for making React easy and fun to learn. I added a timer feature and roll counter to the Tenzies game and am proud of how it turned out!

Been doing calisthenics lately and I highly recommended dead hangs if you have a pull up bar. Good for your back and spine.

Spent the whole day creating an app where you input ingredients and it'll generate a recipe base on the ingredients you gave it! All that's left is where can I deploy this for free. 😅(I miss old Heroku)

Looking back at some of my early projects, I realized I could've save myself so much time and frustration had I design first instead of immediately coding from scratch and winging it.

Surely I'm not the only one that made this mistake right?

#CSS view transitions

I appreciate not caring about a lot of details in this interaction pattern, like if landscape or portrait, grid and the browser continue to take care of everything

String.prototype.startsWith() - JavaScript | MDN The startsWith() method of String values determines whether this string begins with the characters of a specified string, returning true or false as appropriate.

Working on a coding problem where you are dealing with the prefixes of multiple strings? Check out the startsWith() string method. It may help you like it did for me in a particular Leetcode problem.
