Likely it will take more years to get to this dream and have a permanent place for my little nephews, but I'm down for it. 🏡

For years I have had this dream to by a house for my mother, my brother and his special needs children to live in. Their life's were not always easy and we were struggling as a family at times. Being in a position to help is fortunate, but finding the right house is very hard.

It is not the first big change and certainly not the last big change at Apple, but the end of an era for sure. #apple
I'm hoping we can reach more folks till then!

Coca being rejected again on the AppStore
Soon the Subscription Cancellation Button will be required in Germany and the EU from June 2026. @meetlisa.bsky.social explains the current status, challenges, and offers practical advice — read it: buff.ly/uoJyLum I was glad to speak with Lisa and share my perspective. #ios #dev #mac #indie
Presentation slide titled “Table of Contents” for “Apple Multiplatform Apps & Agentic Coding.” It outlines two sections: Part I covers multi-platform techniques such as About Angelo, The Idea, Adding a New Platform, Conditional Compilation, using abstraction for platform compatibility, and conditional modifiers. Part II focuses on AI use and launching, including utilizing AI for app development, use of AI over time, real-life examples, and general app launch advice.
Did some progress, more ready now for CocoaHeads Bremen 😃
Mystery solved

What is this gonna be?
Self inflicted goals for the weekend:
- Create a new revision of Coca for the Mac AppStore
- Finish my CocoaHeads talk
- Do some beautiful things for my customer
...but first a Saturday with friends. ☺️
Today I got to checkout the new location for CocoaHeads Bremen, really nice. Can't wait to meet everyone on Tuesday!
Starting with Ridge Racer 2!

Time for a break
Keeping your Mac awake (and green in Teams) while the lid is closed? Yes. No extra permissions? Yes. Within the sandbox? Yes. This will make an incredible update to Coca soon. #macdev #mac #apple
If I don't need the permission and can pass review, potentially 8k users can benefit from the update. I would love this. Nevertheless, the non app store version is a thing now going forward as well. 😄
I'm really curious about the outcome of Coca's current App Store review. In the meantime I identified an option that might not even need accessibility permission at all and could work in both versions because of that. Accessibility permission was the rejection reason. 🤔
He sure is happy I entered the room 😄
Dark-themed screen titled “Built with Amore” showing a grid of colorful macOS app icons, including the Coca app, highlighting apps built and featured using the Amore publishing tool.

When I had trouble getting the Deep Control feature of Coca 2.0 into the App Store, amore.computer was there for me. ❤️ It is actually a very solid piece of infrastructure to deploy outside MAS on a Mac. You can deploy a clean update in minutes. #macdev #indiedev
Me getting back into espresso ☕️ Time for one more! #coffee
While the direct download version is still fresh you can consider it as soft launched basically. I will try to get the AppStore version ready for my set launch date of 20th if May and make sure to support both now. #macdev

Due to problems with getting Coca 2.0 into the App Store with a full feature set, I made the decision to publish Coca also directly using Amore. The update feature already works and the direct download is available for anyone wanting to try on coca.cammalleri.dev enjoy!

This could work as a sticker for Passable, what do you think? 🤔 #iosdev #macdev
The release of Coca 2.0 is moving to May 20th. The AppStore version will ship alongside a non‑AppStore version — the latter has extra features too fancy for the Mac App Store 🔥 The delay ensures both versions work well. You can beta test Coca 2.0: buff.ly/ilxXWOS 🍃
A collection of PlayStation games neatly arranged on a wooden table, including Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, Resistance 3, Killzone 2, Killzone 3, Clive Barker’s Jericho, Heavenly Sword, and Resistance: Retribution for PSP. To the right are a blue Sony DualShock 3 controller and a PlayStation remote, along with a PSP UMD case for Alien vs. Predator.
Got an amazing haul of retro PlayStation stuff today
Now that the beans are dialed in they run out 😄
Shoutout to one of my favorite apps, Deliveries. 📦
It is simple, accurate and beautiful.

A small black pull wagon parked on a sidewalk in a residential street, carrying a shiny stainless steel espresso machine. Parked cars, bicycles, and apartment buildings line the background under warm afternoon sunlight.
Close-up inside the wagon showing part of the chrome espresso machine alongside three Nintendo DS game cases, including “The Sims: Castaway,” “Riding Star,” and “Art Academy,” resting on a black bag.
A polished stainless steel espresso machine placed on a wooden countertop, surrounded by coffee tools including a milk pitcher, tamper, and cups arranged neatly on top, forming a clean home barista setup.
After a longer repair session in the local workshop, my coffee machine is back with us. On the way home we found some Nintendo DS games that people were giving away! 😄 The coffee bar is a bit crowded but it is a great start and I have espresso again. ☕️
Just got One Sec Lifetime, it already helps from day one not to fall back into old patterns and subconsciously open apps. How cute is the thank you flower! 🌹
