THIS is the kind of cyberpunk future bullshit I actually want
say i was building something like goodreads on ATProto but ISBN doesn’t exist. is there an idiomatic way to handle public records in a shared way? i think i want both reviews _and_ books to be on the user’s PDS for true portability, but i also want books to be discoverable and have accurate info
You must post photos of the costume I know you definitely wore :3
Ah dang, we came a little early! It was truly delightful, I loved the fit that the OPB reporter was wearing (the person in the blue dress in my pics, the back of her hat had a light-up destination board and her earrings were shrinky-dink transit maps!) and so many people were SO excited for it all
The #TransitDog of the day is a small and cute and friendly-looking dog wearing a little costume of a MAX Type 1 train.💜

Still hard at teaching, but updating a few older pieces for some markets this summer including these two swans!
If you aren't going to be at any markets this summer, no worries! You can buy them at my Inprnt and soon (though not yet) my Etsy, link in my bio 🦢
A chihuahua mix dog (I think - it's small and cute and friendly-looking) poses while wearing a little costume of a MAX Type 1 train, a rail car with stripes on it
A poster for an event done in a retro 80s neon style, with a picture of a light rail train with stripes on the side. "1986-2026, Goodbye, MAX Type 1. April 18, 2026 at Holladay Park. NE Holladay St. and NE 11th Ave. Near the Lloyd Center. 12 p.m. - 3 p.m."
A child wearing a hoodie with MAX Type 1-colored stripes bends over to pick up a blue toy MAX train. They are kneeling next to a person wearing a matching blue TRIMET-themed dress and a Banfield Light Rail Project cap. They hold an OPB microphone
A person poses in a train costume by a large crowd and a bunch of bikes. They have a box decorated to look like a train on their head, and wear an apron depicting rail tracks.
Today was beautifully sunny, and so many people turned out to celebrate public transportation! I love PDX

Tree study I did on stream today 🌳 💪

Photo I took of these wonderful people (the faces of whom I’ve blacked out) singing happy Birthday to their lovely old dog at a bar I was at tonight in Portland
I was at a dog-friendly bar in NW Portland tonight and a table behind me started singing Happy Birthday and then I realized it wasn’t for a person but a really old dog who was wearing a crown and he was old and fucking adorable and I love this city
Last few days to take advantage of this deal!

The light clicks on. Outside the window is a giant homunculus made of hundreds of eyes. Voice 1: Oh! It's only Eyelor The Gazer. Hey Gazer. Voice 2: Oh dang, yo Gazer, what's up dude? The Gazer: Oh you know me. Just peepin'. Voice 2: Hell yeah.

(More qs: In person or online? What type is it? How often do you meet? How did you hear about it? Tell me all about it, I wanna know!)

I just read the @bossfightbooks.com volume on Katamari Damacy and it is every bit as charming and delightful as you'd hope it is.
Aw yay, I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! ❤️📌🎾🥞🦆🐄🛻🗻🌎🌈✨
I can instantly enter a deep focus zone by putting on the Daft Punk Tron: Legacy soundtrack (thanks specifically to y’alls’ suggestion!) I have a 30 minute and 60 minute version in my playlist and often don’t realize the music has looped around, I don’t even hear it. Brains are so funny, I love it

If you need to distract yourself for a few hours, no better way than diving into this darkly comic, hopeful sci-fi classic, even if you could not give one iota of a shit about football:

Come see Mel and I in conversation at CCA next week! I think I'm going to do a little guy trade - bring me a human-made drawing of a little guy and I'll give you a very tiny original painting of a little guy(we'll see how many I get done).
A conversation. 1: How long has it been like this? 2: On April 7th, 2026, people stopped being born. On the same day, people stopped dying, and people stopped aging. 3: Ham cheese. ham cracker. cheese cracker. ham and cheese cracker. ham and cheese. 1: Why? 2: We don't know. Nobody knows.
Today, April 7, 2026, humans inexplicably stop aging, dying and being born (17776 or What Football Will Look Like in the Future by Jon Bois, 2017)
