YEAH i knowwww i've heard this from several other people already im just terrible at remembering what games i want to play so i go "oh i need a new game. hee hoo jrpg" and my mind goes blank. im a clown

it's sorta similar to a take on something like danganronpa but unlike dr (which i have negative/mixed feelings on bc i really dont like the writing, it feels like it hates its characters too much?) it clearly has a lot of care for its cast and makes it feel very rewarding if you do also

it's a mystery vn with tactics elements and it's roughly equal parts genuinely upsetting, impressively funny, and completely heartfelt. they take some really goofy character concepts/premises and then play them completely seriously and REALLY well and also the art is really pretty

never played it. i dont really like the art style, but on the other hand i've vibed with furyu's games more than most and i've heard it's fairly short, so it's on my "maybe give it a try sometime" pile

the only ones i've ever finished are dmc5 (it was cool, i didnt like how either v or nero played though lol) and DmC (we dont talk about that) but i've played a bit of 3 and 4 as well and liked them. i should get back to them. i want dmc3 dante's coat.

never played it unfortunately. the visual style doesn't super appeal to me but given what i've heard of it i would probably have a fun time if i did try it

game fucking RULES even if the controls always feel a little less smooth than i want them to. but im 200% down for its brand of cool bullshit and i like the cast a lot. funniest way to handle dual protagonists, also.

yeah understandable. honestly i might have had a decent time if i was willing to give it more of a chance, but i have sooo many other games i want to play more that it was likely to get triaged either way
