The only cowl I hve made - repost. exceedingly simple, just very nice mohair in varied fall colors plus a dark teal blue here and there. Very very soft, nice to wear against my face and neck. #showmeyourknits #knitsky

Just recently got copies of discontinued collection of aran/irish cable knits that i've seen around online- one example- figured to start with something classic when i get my nerve up ...https://ravel.me/8004-516-crew-neck-pullover - believe there are about 8 pieces in total?

Cables! The best and only cable project I have done is these fingerless
Mitts- from my brain except for the cable part... #showmeyourknits #mittens #knitsky shown with medium sized dog for scale ;)

Was trying to make a beachy polo last yr for my husb., however the complex (to me) stitch was making me 🤪. switched to a much simpler stch, may still use the basic plan of the orig ptrn but prob making it diff in other ways. Happy this stch is so much more doable! #knitsky #showmeyourknits 🧶

I think it still looks pretty amazing but I understand it's not what you were going for :/
Will have to look up Zauberweise, I feel like I have used some of their wool...

Restarted the foot with a non-variegated but handsome blue green. Earlier knitting in the pattern has been helpful practice. #showmeyourknits green! #knitsky

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing- it's a bit lighter and less dense (?) and definitely not showing the cable very nicely- I'm glad I've done what I've done, good learning, but I'll probably just frog back and get more of the sea green yarn.

Started on this green and icy blue sock - first toe-up sock I've done. Toe was doable - this cabling design might be too fussy for me, otoh maybe im getting better at it...surely I'm getting a tiny bit better.

Green knit scarf on needles, laid out on pillow to show off various sections. Medium green plus dark forest green in random stripes and texture blocks. Merino, swish superwash for dark green. Lighter green do not recall.

#wip for #showmeyourknits had on the needles for at least a year, just doodling around with different stitch patterns to make a scarf. Finally determined that 1 Green was just too boring 4 me- 2nd green has been inspiring! #stpatricksday #holidayknitting #knitsky #green

Coming to the comments to say the same thing- use the same apple green or v similar would be a bit more sophisticated. 🧐 at least for the yellow.?

Re: names, this reminds me of the Pacific Northwest - I was looking at the various town names and city names and this one really leapt out as fitting the vibe for this garment- *Friday Harbor* super cute little town share.google/rHcPK5owvUVk...

Foundation cardi - sleeve 2 out of 3 in the works. Sleeve 1 proved too capacious, so "artfully" reducing on second and will frog back first and reknit. Happy to find these red and brown buttons, the brown was feeling *very brown*- needed a tiny bit of something else. #showmeyourknits #knitsky
