Saw a great analogy saying if 1 in 10 in a box of chocolates was chocolate covered excrement then you wouldn’t take one and I can’t stop thinking about that

Another part that rankles is that it’s the government who broke it. It’s criminal how much funding has been pulled out of schools

The government’s SEND reform proposals look alright on the surface. If you don’t have a SEND family member I can completely see how “fixing the broken ehcp system” is attractive, given that the ehcp system is very obviously broken. But the fix proposed is cutting off a leg for an ankle sprain.

If you want to support the Palestine Museum of Natural History (which is currently renovating) you can do that directly, by donating, or by producing artwork for them! I already donated some artwork to them

In Yvette Cooper's speech on holocaust memorial day she says she's "committed to preventing atrocities and pushing for accountability wherever they occur – from Sudan to Iran".

It was co-hosted by the Israeli embassy. There was no mention of Gaza.

Low-Flying Aircraft - JG Ballard. Sweaty, dirty, post-tech shorts - surprisingly not all featuring pilots (but most). Favourite one was about time travel television

A Room of One’s Own - Virginia Woolf. Amazed I’ve gone so long without this essential reading. I’m guessing this is where Shakespeare’s Sister got their name.
