If you're heading to #Conpulsion, we challenge you to find and take a picture with @brianbloodaxe.bsky.social.
If you do, tag us telling us how you'd survive the upcoming apocalypse and we'll send you something cool!

Through a Lens is an oil on canvas painting by Ann-Sofie Hall. It is a half picture on page 80 of Embers of Humanity.
And what it looks like in the booklet...
Through a Lens is an oil on canvas painting by Ann-Sofie Hall. It looks sort of like a vortex in the middle of the stars leading beyond that which is perceived.
The last few bits of Weird art sneaking their way into the booklet now...
Donald Trump's expletive laden rant: Tuesday will be Power Plant Dat, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in IRan. There will be nothing like it!!!! Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP
Today we were accused of accidentally causing the downfall of Western civilisation by orchestrating the 2nd term Trump as a viral marketing campaign for Embers of Humanity. We want to be clear that we would never do this!
Our idea would have been much more believable.
We gave our wee website a touch up in the run up to the Kickstarter launch. Check it out and find out more about our cool little #ttrpg

(Have we told you all how great Pika websites are? They're great!)
Weβre doing it fam! This time for real!
Embers of Humanity is coming to Kickstarter this summer:

This is very cool and exactly what we were looking for.
And it's likely to fuel even more disagreement on our Discord. Which is perfect!
Is it possible to write a ttrpg or scenario without words? Like, completely using visuals?
If not, how far could you push it? Can we go further than lyric games into a world of pure visual ttrpgs?
No lies detected.

Sometimes even we have no idea what the art in our game is meant to be.
What is this?
A melting beach? A portal to another universe?
A metaphor for the feeling of blurred vision?
A woman sits reading her book by a fire. A dog curls up at her feet.
We love the simple painting style Joie brought to the game. It really stuck nicely into that old-school-home-brew thing we've got going on.

A table of animal encounters illustrated with a fierce, but somehow lovable pack of wolves attacking two survivors
For our upcoming kickstarter, we're crowdfunding a print run of our game.
In the first edition of the game, we had no budget, so relied on public domain art and some friends.
But we've now been able to commission a number of artists to decorate the book. First up is @joieyong.bsky.social
Hope-filled post-apoc RPG you say? Don't mind if I do!
Got the chance to play this last year and it was a blast.
I ran a very fun mini campaign of this and we ended up with sentientish robots, corn smut gods, cults, and creepy kids. Heartily recommended for all your weird and wonderful players!
Ran me some Embers at the weekend and it was just a great time. I'm first in line to back this when it opens
Embers of Humanity is our post apocalypse, community-focused, hopeful RPG. Soon to come to Kickstarter to fund a printed edition!
That's cause:
1) The game is already done and we're only using the money to buy more art.
2) The stretch goals are going to be tame and easy to apply.
3) We're using Drivethru fulfillment so it's super safe.
4) We're folksy, charming, lovable rogues.

Embers Con. 28-29th March A celebration of post-apocalyptic roleplaying and community. Join our Discord to take part. Behind it, a weird rift in the clouds hovers over a ruined city with a single balloon floating above it.
Welcome to Embers Con.
For one weekend only, we get to roleplay like all the politicians are dead, the world is ruined, and weird stuff keeps happening.
(It's really depressing that the sounds like a positive vision of the world right now)

Is societal fascination with the apocalypse built around a belief that, no matter what, life goes on,
Or a desire for the entire system to be brought crashing down because it's evil and needs destroyed?
Wanna try a new #ttrpg?
Weβve got a bunch of games available during Embers Con and would love to have some new players come try this cozy little apocalyptic game we all love.

*looks outside*
An apocalypse that knocks out all electronics is starting to look like a best-case-scenario at this point, huh?
We've managed to license a ton of this art for Embers of Humanity's latest version. Expect to see a lot of this gorgeous abstract style in the booklet.
Sorry Simon!
We know how much you love real people.
In fairness, we did put the word Discord in it. But we still apologise for the confusing chemistry flooding your veins.
This just a boy (big hairy fat man) posting in front of a player (anyone who likes #RPG #TTRPG) suggesting they give some of the free games here a shot.
They're GMT (ISH)
Weβre now looking for a few more players for Emberscon.
Interested in playing post apocalyptic roleplaying in a fun and cosy community? Join the con.
Watch this space though, we have almost finished work on Embers version 1.3 which will be coming to KickStarter later this year!
