48. Robot Dreams
Forgot to add this yesterday oops. Wonderful film, could have been an all time favourite of mine if the bittersweet ending didn’t miss the mark and leave me feeling more sour instead. 9/10

47. Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared (web series)
Tells its story creatively and has some great practical effects. Not as much my thing as it is for others, but I had a pretty good time regardless. 7/10
46. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Wonderful experience seeing this with some of my best friends I rarely get to meet with! I wish I liked the movie more! Some fun scenes, but I don’t like how most characters were handled or most of the detours. 5/10
45. Monster House
Opening scene freaked me out as a kid so I never continuted past it. Now I've seen the full thing and I really like it. Could see myself maybe even loving it upon further reflection or another viewing. 7/10
44. Mars Needs Moms
Nem and I watched this together and have coined the phrase "wordful storytelling." I asked him whether it was better or worse than Mufasa, and he was struggling to decide until the credits rolled and showed a baby pissing in a woman's face. 2/10
You’ll never guess what my username is in the server where I watched this for movie night

Watch out world here I are! 3/10
There is now a second ticking clock for me to get my Galaxy 2 Green Star ranking finished as soon as possible. I set myself a deadline already, but now it could be any day in the next week.
It’s already far enough along to where I can probably get it done this weekend, hopefully that’s enough time.
I keep thinking about this idea and am almost tempted to do it. My main hangup, even more than the workload or MCU/Avatar/Last Jedi discourse, is that I do not care to watch the Harry Potter films. If it was the first 2 then maybe, but it being the first and last means I would have to watch them all
42. How To Make A Killing
I think I just like Glen Powell in everything he's in. He'll make a great Star Fox I'm sure. Reminded me a bit of Trap (2024). 8/10
The fart jokes with Pumbaa are duds in both versions of the Lion King for me, one of the few I liked was Timon cutting him off because the delivery was funny so I can't say I cared for them going the opposite direction.
I'll give them that the Be Our Guest bit was okay at least
41. Mufasa: The Lion King
Nem said that this was better than nearly a quarter of the 120 films he had to watch for his live action comic book movie ranking video. I do not envy the projects he puts on his plate. 2/10
Not that there’s anything wrong with the take in the clip obviously. We’ve just gotten a lot of mileage out of saying stuff like “sometimes Timon and Pumbaa are unfunny / intrusive / fucking irritating in ways they weren’t in the original.”
Nem and I have watched the “live action” Lion King films together for a video he’s working on. We’ve been quoting this old Schaffrillas clip as our method of coping every time Timon and Pumbaa piss us off, which has been very frequent. I don’t think either of us has unironically laughed at them once
40. Project Hail Mary
Dial back the quips and this would probably be an all timer for me. 9/10
This episode was great, now it's worse

Bouldergeist [Super Mario Galaxy]
39. Arco
Very fun. I liked the robot a lot. Those three guys were so silly, every time they were onscreen was a highlight. 8/10
38. Arcane Season 1
Finally remembered that shows exist. Lots of fun to watch with friends in VC. Heimerdinger is maybe the best character ever. Very excited to get to season 2. 9/10
37. The Lion King (2019)
Forgot to put this in the thread yesterday and it honestly deserved to stay forgotten. The most enjoyment I got was from this pair of images aside from the poster, they had me and the friend I watched this with laughing for a good few minutes. 1/10
i like when frieren hits the "i'm proud of you" smile
36. Tom & Jerry
I’m finally free to not have this stupid cat and hamster be most of what I put in this thread. Can’t wait to finish Doom and Arcane. This movie was ass, I can’t believe both the theatrical T&J movies are worse than all 15 direct to DVD ones. 2/10
35. Hoppers
When that thing happened after the birds dove into the water, I was leaning forward in my chair. Most insane thing ever put in a Pixar film probably. 8/10
