I wonder what other things you missed whilst running Good Chem. Have you seen Friends?

I think that’s the point of the scoring system right? No one is supposed to understand why they win/lose.
Nice reviews. One Cask at a Time seem like a cool company.
The problem with being a @pelliclemag.com reader is that the list of pubs to visit keeps on growing exponentially. This is a beautiful piece about pubs, breweries and of place. I love the Lakes and I need to go back. Thanks @katiematherkm.bsky.social. www.pelliclemag.com/home/2026/4/...

Always a pleasure, never a chore. #TheNetherfield
Strong agree. I missed to
The vodka, so I’ll come back to it. #TheNetherfield
What’s the weirdest one that you have eaten so far? #TheNetherfield
Do you commit as heavily as you do to the mince pie? #TheNetherfield
Palate: This might be seasonal suggestiveness, but I get a big whack of hot cross buns: dried fruit, gentle cinnamon spice and buttery bread. #TheNetherfield
Next is #TheNetherfield Double Wood Matured 13 Year Old Blended Whisky. Aroma: Musty sherry fruit, Demerara sugar sweetness and cinnamon spice.
For more whisky? Where do I sign up? #TheNetherfield
100% 🤣 #TheNetherfield
Palate: this is a delicate, pudding sweet little whisky. Meringue and lemon curd, followed by lovely warming ginger notes. They last, liner and warm the palate. #TheNetherfield
It’s definitely not though right? #TheNetherfield
Next in the glass is #TheNetherfield Linkwood 10 Year Old. Aroma: lemon acidity, meringue sweetness and a gentle ginger biscuit spice.
Palate: At first golden syrup silky sweetness, then it becomes fruity with orchard fruits. The final notes are gentle ginger spice and a dark sugar sweetness and fruit. #TheNetherfield
Second in the glass (first for me) is #TheNetherfield House Release. Aroma: butter toffee, green apples and buttery croissants.
Sorry #TheNetherfield gang, I am running behind schedule. Will join in five minutes. Family life is a bit like a treadmill that got stuck on too high a setting.
I am hosting an #English whisky tasting, exploring six different distilleries and cask types along the way in #Clevedon on Tuesday 21st April 2026. It’s £25 and I guarantee* fun. www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/english-wh...
Going for the full @craftbeerchannel.bsky.social supermarket #Lager run tonight… any thoughts on my suggested order?
😂😂😂😂😂
I wish! Maybe sometime in the future.
Very kind. I actually need to have a writing evening or two to stack the next few months very soon, so this is good encouragement to get it done.
Thanks dude. That is generous. I was probably tipsy.
Thanks. I like to fill the niche of reviews no one asked for or wants! 😂
Cadenheads – Islay Single Malt – ISY.3.A
Wm Cadenhead’s is a whisky company you can trust. They produce fantastic whisky, and I have never bought a bottle from them that has been anything less than great. I spent a very long time at the Cadenhead’s table at the Exploring Whisky Bristol festival.…
Three cans of Thornbridge and a Bakewell pudding
Bet you can’t guess where we went today?
Went to Sheffield. It was a joy. Made me question Bristol, which is important to do every so often.
Is it only for sale in Germany? Love the sound of that in tawny port.
