Yeah I didn't get why Radioactive is hated so much, overplayed I guess?
damn, guess it's not one of the AI hater lists I'm on
I wanna feel included 😭
As I read this, I was listening to Into the Black Hole by Ayreon, luckily I was able to escape because the song hadn't yet gotten to the part where he actually goes into the black hole
I just want a good 1-drop Merfolk for Modern that doesn't require extra mana to actually do the thing that makes it good
nah, the truth is the No Gunman theory: his head just did that
RFK Jr no longer disguising his MAHA movement for what it really is: eugenics
as a seahawks fan, same
Voters have no leverage over politicians except their vote. If you just declare you'll always vote for a party no matter what they do, they will never listen to you
of course, the Dem establishment doesn't actually care about winning, they care about giving Israel whatever it wants
searched my name and discovered the fictional hurricane fandom
that tour is coming to my city but it's one of the ones Amon Amarth isn't at 😭
the best part is I know a guy who could, conceivably, actually be a weed dealer, a card shop owner, and an accountant
I don't think he'd ever have a desire to do all 3, especially not at once, but he has the education and experience he'd need

The 9 MTG Cards That Made Me 1. Akki Avalanchers - I started playing during Kamigawa, and this was one of my favorite cards from my first deck, a sort of goblin sligh thingy. Instilled in me the quintessential red mage philosophy of just going for the win even at great cost 2. Gelectrode - made me fall in love with spellslinger and other cast trigger-based decks 3. Life from the Loam - always been fascinated by the land system and how unique it is among card games to this day 4. Grapeshot - I've played Storm in basically every format it's be remotely viable since I've started playing, I love playing out the combo turns 5. Arcbound Ravager - My favorite card of all time. So many things you can do with 2 relatively simple abilities. I played Ravager Affinity in early Modern, and Scales later, and now if I can get 3 more Opals I'm gonna try Affinity again lol 6. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben - in early modern, Storm and Affinity were things I played on MWS (and later MTGO). D&T was my paper deck, much cheaper, and surprisingly good against a lot of the meta. I won my first FNM on D&T. 7. Exhume - Early in my Magic career, I became utterly fascinated by the possibility of turn 1 Entomb, turn 2 Exhume. In my baby player brain it seemed like the strongest possible thing you could do, you would be so far ahead with an Akroma or something on turn 2. A great example of parity breaking 8. Titania, Protector of Argoth - My oldest EDH deck that's remained continuously built and played, also my blinged out deck. Recently been upgrading it to B4 to match my friends blinged out decks. Even when I play green, I'm still a red mage at heart; I go wide and I fuck with the lands 9. Lord of Atlantis - I've also played Merfolk off and on in Modern, and it's my main at the moment. Even when I play blue, I'm still a red mage at heart; I go wide and I fuck with the lands
Roughly in the order I started using them. Explanations in the alt text. This was pretty fun, thinking back through my whole time as a player
wish I could've fit Annex in there, I love Eminent Domain back in the day

It's a really shitty situation. You make your living by turning your life into content, but when something bad happens, it can suddenly become taboo to turn your life into content, despite it probably meaning you need more money than normal
Idk who needs to hear this but ACAB includes landlords
