It’s TACO Tuesday right?

I haven’t done frontend web stuff for a while I really didn’t write any of this code directly, all done with Claude Code. It helped me add tests using Playwright before refactoring to use AlpineJS. Then I asked it to write a codebase guide so I can actually understand it all (it’s in docs).
Having a little local library I can browse and just click in a song to start practicing it instead of having to open YouTube and search for what I want reduces friction and makes life easier.
I’m already using this every day and have pushed up a number of new features and improvements. This solves a real problem for me. Playing along to tab videos is one thing but sometimes I want the original audio, I don’t want to hear the bass of the person in the tab video.
I’ve been using Claude Code for about 3 months now and am finding my way with it. I’ve decided to give ”vibe coding” a go and have put together a little app for guitar/bass practice. Create a library of YouTube tab videos, synched with a separate audio video. github.com/lukeredpath/...
I have an irrational dislike for the phrase “xxx hit(s) different”. Who even says that in real life?
Is there a way I can mute the caption “what were you like in the 90s” across all social media? Stop ruining The Goo Goo Dolls!
I’m not clicking the link to that jumps game you all keep sharing. I’m not silly…
Also raises the question as to why online forms even ask for a county as it isn’t really necessary for anything address-related AFAIK.
True, true. I appreciate the work you do, thank you.
He isn’t of course, but not everyone is familiar with responsible disclosure and it would have helped to include a link to the full article on this as it was the first thing that crossed my mind too. taxpolicy.org.uk/2026/03/13/c...
Oof. Full details on taxpolicy.org.uk/2026/03/13/c... (the issue has been fixed prior to disclosure)
Thanks, where was this from?
Not quite a fine wool but I do love my Finisterre jumpers. Not sure this is quite the shade you had in mind. finisterre.com/products/wom...
Just a normal conversation with my wife.
Ok I’ve now found out you can get this set up in Home Assistant too and even use it for automations (I’m not sure what exactly). Maybe I can get an early warning notification on my phone that an Apache is about to fly over - they don’t half make a racket.
To quote Tim Minchin…”You know what they call alternative medicine that’s been proven to work? Medicine.”
Sorry I know that’s only tangentially related to your post but it reminded me and I had to get that off my chest.
For my SIPP and ISA I was at least able to start the process electronically but I’m lead to believe that this Origo system institutions use to automate the process is really just a fancy way for them to pass paperwork around and isn’t really that automated anyway. Again…it’s 2026. 🤷🏻♂️
I just had to transfer two Junior ISA accounts and not only did I have to fill out and post paper forms to do this, I was then told that delays between the two providers occur because the process often involves people sending paper requests between fund managers. In 2026.
The Brits aren’t really my thing but was worth it just to see one minute of Björk live.
Just not on a regular team Claude plan sadly.
Isn’t that Jumbo?
Tech bros gonna tech bro.
Wanted to try out the new Xcode 26.3 update with Claude only to find it doesn’t work with a standard team account, premium accounts only? Even though Claude code works with a standard account? 🤔
From what I’m reading it’s not the first time it’s happened recently but seem to have been caught by the latest wave of Zendesk spam. It’s pretty indiscriminate and if you have a domain with a catch-all you’re probably gonna get quite a bit. www.reddit.com/r/Zendesk/s/...
Yes, I’ve been using Home Assistant to try and move as much of my IOT stuff to local only (barring Apple HomeKit as a bridge for remote access).
My daughter gets to watch Die Hard for the first time this year!
It was utterly stupid and short-sighted to make this a manifesto commitment in the first place. Boxed themselves into a corner.
I enjoyed the Marmite Mac and Cheese and also the pizza weirdly but I’ve got to draw the line at caramel sauce.
