Well, at the GLV5 area near Eindhoven AB (NL) you can see the Chinooks low flyig in action. This is the formal farewell flight of the Dutch Chinook D type

There was once the beautiful 57FIS with F-4Es and F-15s in the 70s-90s at Iceland. Black Knights.

Dan zetten we de peildatum op 31-12-2026. Op die dag moeten alle US bases op Europees grondgebied leeg worden opgeleverd en de allerlaatste US militair dient die dag Europa te verlaten. En alle US militaire overvluchten zijn vanaf dat moment verboden. En dan maar wachten op de TACO....... 😉

Ik was in februari in India bij een Indiase Landmacht demo in de Thar woestijn. Daar was deze op drones aan het schieten. In India zijn ze gemoderniseerd met nieuwe phased-array radars. Ze zijn daar heel erg blij dat ze die dingen niet uitgefaseerd hebben a la de Gepards in dit drone tijdperk
