happy to report wicked did live up to the hype and people applauded the screen four separate times in my screening

still perplexed at this BBC review of Wicked suggesting Nessarose should have been cut from the film given how important she is in Act 2 / linking Wicked to The Wizard of Oz. But I guess this is what some people might think when you only get to see Act 1 and have to wait a year for Act 2.
