Yeah, it was after seven in the morning and we were exhausted, but three of us had almost nothing to say in the aftermath of having our expectations shattered so thoroughly, and even the one member of the party who always found something positive to say was grasping at straws.

My brother, two friends, and I waited in line at the theatre for 12 hours to catch a 5AM showing of Phantom Menace on opening night and we were hyped. 12 hours of almost non-stop talk about Star Wars and being pumped up for Ep1… and the drive home was almost entirely silent.
