The way Western governments give propaganda cover to Israel to commit genocide, provide the weapons, pay for it and then persecute people opposing the genocide is simply unprecedented in modern times.
If you can’t see that, then am speechless.
Am the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, and I find it profoundly shocking to witness the obvious parallels between the Israeli state’s actions and what happened in the 1930s.
Yes, there have been many genocides in the meantime, but the brazen sadism and Western support mark this one out.
The comparison doesn’t hold water at all.
1. Is a settler movement ethnically cleansing the territory of Sudan?
2. And has this been going on for 80 years?
3. And have they been bankrolled with billions of $$? Armed and ideologically supported by US politicians and the Western press?

Libraries for me have been a source not just of books, but also of cool music, world cinema, and in the early days of the internet, they were a place to go online. Where was I on 11 September 2001? Using the library computer. Only found out what had happened once I got home. A strange memory.
Indeed, but the same should be true for the genocide in Gaza. Zero tolerance for people who deny, distort or deflect on the IDF war crimes and extermination of Palestinians.
Moral consistency is the key here.
Extraordinary how Shapiro kept repeating that anyone who doesn’t embrace Zionism is rejecting peace. Rather than framing it as anyone embracing Zionism is rejecting basic human justice and dignity for the Palestinians.
