We’re pleased to announce the signing of 18-year-old forward Vernon Masara on an initial one-month loan from Burnley FC.

Welcome to FC, Vernon!

@nplchat.bsky.social I wouldn't say it was a look of disappointment, Rick. More mild ambivalence! Lol
No shame in that performance today. 3-1 absolutely flatters them. We dominated the game.
@nplchat.bsky.social Looking forward to Rick's views on his day out at FC, seeing us continue our unbeaten start to the season.
The 100% start continues

@nplchat.bsky.social Have you checked on Ross?
A superb second half performance sees Beesley’s boys maintain the 100% start to the season!

Definitely need more in the middle. Ennis isn't going to be able to play every week and Munroe needs a bit more bite about him.
Thanks to every one of you who’s stood on the terraces, stuck a tenner in the bucket, sung through the rain, and believed there’s another way. 🤝
This club was never just about football. It still isn’t. ⚽️
Here’s to the next chapter. 📚

Military parades for the leaders birthday? How very North Korean.
Football is.
This is just a bastardised money grab by FIFA. Nobody who has an interest in football has an interest in this competition because they see it for the money grab and corruption between FIFA and Saudi Arabia.
20 years. Not bad for a bunch who were told we wouldn’t last til Christmas! 🎄
Built by the fans, for the fans, and still going. Through promotions, relegations, ground moves and graft, we’ve kept turning up. Still together, still on our terms. 💪 (1/3)

Hmm....I doubt it. "Fifa slashed the prices of match tickets after poor uptake from fans and the UK broadcaster showing the tournament will be Channel 5, the home of World Seniors Snooker."
I'm sure there will be some surprise results. However, nobody will know because nobody has any interest in watching the stupid thing.

Looking forward to a soap box moment from Ross!
@nplchat.bsky.social Quite the week with regards to the NPL playoffs. Surely common sense would be to fine Stockton or even dock them points next season? Kicking them out of the playoffs only punishes the fans. Your thoughts?
⚽️🎙EPISODE 40🎙⚽️
This week, Luke, Rick and Ross are joined by The Travelling Anchor to talk about Stockton Town's amazing season. Also, a worldie goal, who did Luke meet at the services? And who won the predictions league?!

Meh. I can take it or leave it. If I could travel to the away games I can see the appeal and it has a good aim in forging links between fan owned clubs but I feel much the same about it as the Manchester Cup and FA trophy. Do you not see a situation Rylands could go fan owned?
He'll not be able to win it again unless Rylands go fan owned.
I think we stagnated under Reno. His football was trying to replicate prime Barcelona with small technical players that didn't have the ability or strength to compete. It'll be interesting to see both managers fortunes when they have their own squads. Only one has got promotion from this league.
We are still hamstrung by our playing budget which by all accounts is in the bottom quarter of the league due to our debt on Broadhurst.
We've only really fallen away since we've all but guaranteed safety. You could also tell from his post match interviews that the vast majority of the squad will be let go come the end of the season.
I mean Mark Beesley has done wonders at FC United. He inherited a squad that was almost all on contracts so he couldn't really release the underperformers and got them safe despite being in the relegation zone when he took over.
