I hadn't heard that about affectionate cats before. I have three cuddle-monsters & they all love belly rubs. I've only heard of stand-off-ish cats not liking belly time.

I've applied for assistance, but that takes forever & a half & usually ends in denial the first time no matter how badly you need it.

Our system is designed to fail those of us w/ disability & I am falling between the cracks.

I don't have the energy to hustle w/ those kinds of posts & even if I did, I no longer have the financially supportive audience I once had.

ME is a mitochondrial dysfunction, I don't produce enough energy cellularly to be pleading for help. I'm just defeated.

I feel both envy & sympathy whenever I see people that receive money online from posts pleading for financial help.

It isn't something anyone should have to do. We should have Universal Basic Income.

But also, very envious of y'all getting financial help bc I have no income.

Sinus pressure hurts so much. 😭

I'm disabled, I should be exempt from getting sick. 😭

I wish the people around me would wear masks while they're out. I'm permanently disabled bc someone didn't mask.

Everyone wants to go around w/o a mask on, but no one wants to support the consequences of their actions. I still have no income & no support despite needing both.

ME is a mitochondrial dysfunction & everything takes energy:

• socializing
• cognitive thinking
• feeling emotions
• physical activity

So please, stop asking me why I can't even stream anymore. It's painful not being financially stable on top of being severely disabled.

There ain't no way Tomodatchi is THE SAME PRICE ($60) as Baldur's Gate.

Baldur's Gate is a $60 game.
Tomodatchi should be a $30 game, $35 MAX.

That pricing is outrageous.

Just bc some people can pay double what the game should be, doesn't mean Nintendo should bleed us dry.

I'm too disabled to work. So disabled I need in home support services - which should come through in a couple months for here, in California. I applied for benefits here.

I wanna go home so bad, but I don't even have one.

ME/CFS is a very lonely condition.

Actually we should just give citizenship to every undocumented person in the United States who wants it. Walking over an imaginary line isn't some great moral atrocity. Making people live in the shadows as a permanent underclass absolutely IS.

It's all ads, even on Bluesky (there's a lot of self-promotion, which I get bc we're all poor in America & have to beg for scraps).

I'm just so fatigued by it all. I miss actual friends & old school social media.

My life has been taken over by myalgic encephalomyelitis. The choices I make are no longer "what do I want to do" & are now things such as "should I brush my teeth or eat breakfast" (bc I can't do both).

Sana is doing better & seems like she's on the mend. Ate food last night & this morning (but not lunch) - didn't puke once! ❤️‍🩹 Hopefully she'll get her whole appetite back soon.
