Ask the average denizen of DC -- or the average pundit -- who represents the Democratic Party & they'll point to a silly Wesleyen freshman who says "latinx" ... instead of pointing to the dozens of diligent, unflashy legislators & aides involved in this bit of expert policymaking. Why is that?

2986 rides, 2131 miles, 335 hours.
I was doing bike angels consistently for a few months which translated to a lot of short rides.
Saw it Saturday, with a Q&A with Michaela Coel afterwards. It's good! Definitely not a story I've seen before.
"Magataotao" on Twitter writes: "I am Catholic. This👇is not my Pope." Attached is a video of the Pope saying that we should search for peace and reject war. A community note under their tweet says: "You are not a Catholic if you do not accept the Pope, but rather a schismatic. Canon 751: “Schism is the refusal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff,” ie. the Pope. https://www.vatican.va/archive/cod-iuris-canonici/eng/documents/cic_lib3-cann747-755_en.html"

I'll have you know some of us are both in love and in possession of situational awareness.
another example of why taxing the rich, especially these two losers, is a necessary alternative to letting them coast on these small scale, ephemeral pet projects of performative philanthropy
He says, in the post you're replying to, that conversion therapy is abusive in all its forms. What about that is unclear?

I bet your library's website can give you a day pass to the Times.
Thanks for clarifying! Someone should tell them to put that in the copy!

So if I buy more phones in the future, I won't be able to ride the LIRR? This doesn't seem like a good long term strategy, guys.

Trump does not think strategically, historically, geographically, or even rationally. He does not connect actions he takes on one day to events that occur weeks later. Allied leaders know that if they help him in the Gulf, he won't be grateful, or even remember

people don’t put enough dissociation time between meetings when they schedule stuff for me
I live in NJ. The state of NJ, in both percentage and absolute terms, lost more manufacturing jobs than any other state in the union and it's not even close. Every single NJ county lost more jobs than the US average, and most lost >58% of jobs
And yet, nobody interviews "the forgotten man" here.

Sure, I don't think anyone in this thread disagrees with that idea. But they don't have to now (and they'd fight tooth and nail against the idea) so there are a ton of cars being stored for free on the streets.
Yes, that's exactly what they're saying. It's very convenient for getting into Manhattan and so on. Not great for going to the Hamptons or Stowe.
You're reading that exactly backwards.
