When will we see progress on lease extensions to make them easier and less costly? At the moment I’m looking at a 5 figure sum to do so - and I’d have to pay my freeholder’s legal costs in the process!

Definitely welcome but the two big things affecting me as a leaseholder are the lack of transparency in service charges and the prohibitive cost of extending the lease… The latter could be a five figure sum plus include me paying my freeholders legal costs !

It’s a daily experience that I’m gasping or furious at some ebike action. Saw a lime biker thrown clear off his bike after skipping a red light as traffic started moving from the side. Suited guy, no helmet, headphones in… must have just thought he was invincible 🤷🏻‍♂️ (he was okay so maybe he is)

AI… clearly has huge potential in healthcare - eg. analysing scans and spotting issues sooner. But the downsides of the infrastructure and energy-use if it’s just people creating slop. There’s finding a balance and using it usefully which feels like is being missed if we’re just dashing for it…

It's still finding the signs and floor stencils about keeping 2m apart that throw me. I was in the restaurant recently that still had the Test & Trace poster with QR code by the door!

Any flexibility would be the welcome. Like the private sector it’d be ideal to choose contribution levels. I benefited from the 5.5% pay rise but automatically went into the next pension bracket as a result. So real terms take-home didn’t change an awful lot at the time of increased bills etc.
