surely no army in military history has ever been laid low by disease, a famously uncommon problem among people living in enforced close quarters

this take is so utterly divorced from reality that it gets upset at its trans kid because it paid to have all its kids male.
i mean i will absolutely judge someone for cheating in any game regardless of stakes but if they need the fleeting feeling of "winning", and they're willing to suffer the consequences of cheating, they can have it.
too many people look at me funny when i don't cut decks at prerelease.
when they seem puzzled, i say "if you're going to cheat at prerelease, you clearly need it more than i do and i want you to have it."
like come on. i really care about the pack for winning the match. be for real here.
wow screenshot: a female draenei (glowing sparkly pink) stands in a house with bel'ameth walls. there is a pink translucency blocking the doorway to the next room, and no other decor showing.

fun fact: the grand drape of the exiles (outland tailoring) can be resized and clipped into walls to look almost like an energy barrier. this is going to be the doorway to my priest's bedroom.
with the ar visualization this looks cool as hell.
"don't forget to subscribe to disney+ to watch endgame before doomsday!" would have been fine if it were anything other than exactly that.
i would build my skills. master godot as much as possible.
if kat the former candidate for congress and tim onion aren't the most interesting couple living today - two people who have both done cool stuff without relying on each other for more than normal couple stuff - i desperately want to know who is.
I support the right of everyone to block me for any reason whatsoever, including that their dog farted while they were reading my post.
That said, occasionally I do go through three stages of being blocked:
1) Huh?
2) Seriously?
3) Yeah, thatโs probably for the best. We were not gonna be friends.
anyway i wear my flo mask consistently and will continue to do so.
...and most of all i would hate to infect anyone myself. yes, most other people take few if any precautions. but just because other people play russian roulette doesn't mean i would be ok pulling the trigger for someone else's turn.
this but also i *hate* masking. it's uncomfortable to have something over my face for hours on end. same reason everyone else hates masking.
but i would hate being stricken with long covid more. i would hate the organ damage that comes with any infections, and i've already had it once.
...and

this is the same logic i use to argue we shouldn't rebuff ex-maga folks who want to get rid of tfg. even if reminding them that it's their fault and mocking them right now were correct, it's definitely not going to make them feel good about actively voting against republicans in november.
allison's adventures in dating apps: i am currently starting to talk to a woman ten years older than me. historically most of my partners have been 3-5 years younger than me, but that was never something i looked for.
dating an older woman could be nice, i think.
i have nothing to do with this game professionally. i just think it's amazing and so i will sing its praises on the regular.
also the solo dev behind it is working on a sequel (no eta, last i heard it's ready when it's ready) and i'm also anticipating that quite a lot.

if the description makes it sound appealing, i cannot stress enough how great this game is. and it's *hard*, too. you need to actually think about combat and sometimes try new strategies or you just get ranched.
every once in a while i get lucky and forget a lot of details about a game i remember mostly that i loved, so i can replay it with only vague subconscious hints.
anyway crystal project is awesome. absolutely a top 5 modern ff-like game.
and if you don't get the ghostbusters 2 reference, i'm not mad just disappointed.
there are plenty of science fiction examples of "and then we used tech to impose 'not being a douchebag' on everyone and so the world got much better."
we should do that. the mayor in ghostbusters 2 was wrong. you don't have to be actively helpful but you shouldn't be an asshole.
damn, that's a hell of a compliment.
When you use AI to do your writing, you are telling your audience: โI deserve your attention, but you do not deserve my effort.โ
what the absolute fuck. i'm so sorry stella.
shut up forever.
i honestly think i like cancer more than rfk jr. at least cancer isn't consciously malicious in hurting as many people as possible.
i think i missed literally everyone. it was just nice to hang out with a friend that i didn't even care about that confusion.
(for clarity, i was at the restaurant not eating, wearing my flo mask. my food was all ordered to go. i was just there to socialize.)
for the first time in ages, i got confused by a server that i was the partner of a guy i was having dinner with.
she handed me the check and i was very confused why she wanted me to pay for more than i ordered and it took a second for things to click.
so he bought me dinner as a welcome home.
fuck cancer always, but absolutely fuck pancreatic cancer twice as much.
this would be amazing if it makes it through trials and becomes a true treatment.
You absolutely SHOULD NOT go around telling people that data centers are full of gold, silver, palladium, copper, and that the data centers are almost entirely unstaffed.
