Tatjana Wood has apparently passed away at age 99. Her father was Jewish so during WW2 her parents sent her to the Netherlands, then NY. She studied as a dressmaker, met/married Wallace Wood and began assisting him, then pivoted to becoming one of the best colorists in comics.

It's not a good sign when the hero of the story is a puddle of goo.

50+ comic strips ago. I feel like I was doing alright coloring back then in retrospect. However it's always hard to fight the urge to a. The extra layers of tone and shade I've added to my process since then.

The hardest part if being an artist is leaving older art alone.

This and the last strip took a little longer to draw. I remember back when I started webcomics many years ago, I was always told to maintain a regular release schedule NO MATTER WHAT. However I would rather provide quality over quantity.

I love how this strip turned out. It was a major act of self control not sharing anything from this strip.

Who can stop Hooker? Ignition is down and out. Even with a moment of remorse, Hooker is off to increase the body count.

A throwback from earlier this year.

This was a fun way to play with various layout styles for webcomics. In the end, I stayed with the layout I've been using. This did prove that on the full pages I draw, I could use the bombastic layouts I loved about traditional comics and still make them work.

Spinnerette, I love that webcomic.

Wow, that was unexpected. Hooker just might have a leg.... err... arm up on Ignition.

Hardcore gets pulled to safety by Lethal. The dumpster flying at him passes over, barely missing them.

Hardcore just missed getting splattered thanks to Lethal.

I draw with the intention to publish in a traditional comic format, and sometimes it doesn't translate well when converted to comic strip format. I like how this sequence turned out.
