So sweet

That editing was absolutely unacceptable for someone that we all want to just go away permanently. Got my hopes up for nothing π
Saw a very good quality photo of trump with the edges faded to black, with white lettering on it. Obviously, I thought "is he finally dead??"
No. It was just a headline for an article. Whoever edited that photo needs to be fired (with severence pay so they can afford rent and food).
The first ten seconds of Fiery from Gachiakuta are so good, and the triplets? I have to laugh. It's just too damn good.
"How will the USA recover our reputation" Get a grip! We never will! We will never be trusted or relied on ever again, and it's well deserved. We are, without a shadow of a doubt, evil - and the world has every right to move on without us.
Crying ππ They are so cute
Found out it was probably a hobo spider, which have awful vision and likely didn't even realized it got too close. I should have relocated it. Absolutely gutted with guilt and despair.
Most house spiders also cannot survive outside, so I allow them to live in my house so long as they pay rent (eat bugs). I just have personal boundaries and the area surrounding my bed is off-limits π π»π π»
Went to kill a spider and I think I permanently incapacitated it, but I can't find it to put it out of its misery. I feel so bad. This is why I don't kill spiders, man. I only have a success rate of about 30%.
Sorry, but that's not how it works in my head. Palestinians are fighting back in every way they can, and I cannot condemn that. My finger is pointed squarely at Israel for starting this whole thing 70+ years ago, not Palestinians for fighting for their lives.
I've never understood the question "do you condemn the actions of Hamas" because no? I don't? Imagine you're in a fight and getting your shit kicked in (Israeli occupation and genocide of Palestinians). You manage to get up and get a swing in (Oct 7th), and suddenly you're the villain? No way π€·π»
Not gonna lie, yall. I did not think Easter was that big of a deal to christians π€·π»
It was the most effective parenting move my parents have ever made. I should note that it would have been worse had I tried to lie my way out of it. Because I immediately confessed, the punishment wasn't as severe. Emotionally, it was crushing.
- She set it down in front of me, looked me in the eye, and said "Go ahead! Cut yourself a slice βΊοΈ"
Brothers, the shame I felt was immense. Whatever lesson she was teying to teach, it was successful. I couldn't look anybody in the eye as I was forced to cut this cake and eat it. -
When I was 12, I sent my friend a text calling my mom a bitch, except I sent it to my mom, not my friend. I knew there was no getting out of it, so I ran up to her and confessed to my crime. She was pissed, left the house for 3 hours, and instead of a lecture or grounding, she came back w/ a cake. -
The cutest little face π
Fuck Dole!! I've always hated them and I don't trust them in any way, shape, or form. I don't trust that they didn't intentionally neglect Wahiawa Dam, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it to get more land. The fact that their plantations are tourist spots will always disappoint me.
I get health insurance through the state and I'm about to drive down to Salem bc their phone tree is pissing me off. Bring back switchboard operators! I'm sick of this phone tree bullshit.
The original corner felt so naked, so I added a few extra stitches to give it shape. I genuinely could not focus while stitching, all I could see and think about was how bare that corner looked.

The practice run for the doubled up border!

Are the feelings of hunger and lust the same for them? Because that seems far more concerning than the topic of whether humans are omnivores or not.
Saw a comment that said "eating animals is morally indistiguishable from wanting to fuck them" and I have so many questions.
First of all, comments like that are why people don't take vegans seriously. Second of all, when they fuck a human, do they want to eat them? π§π§
I also recommend using a smaller hoop, because it forces you to undo it and reposition it a lot - which allows your linen to breathe and relax better. Leaving the hoop in for too long will cause the flax fibers to permanently crimp, so do be mindful of that! /gen
Fabric tension 100%! Making sure your fabric is truly taut like a drum will help you get really nice and consistent stitches.
If you aren't sure how taut a drum should be, there should be almost no give when you press your finger, and it should rebound right back when you tap it. /gen
I definitely audibly said "no way" when I realized the first try was too thin ππ I considered maybe going double-ply, but the small pattern just looks better, I fear.
I had to rework the pattern to double it up, and I ended up with this, which I think will actually look really cool.
Tried the pattern going over two on this 56 ct - which is the same ct as the final project, and I realized (with dread) that over one looks more legible. I want to cry π
