I found out two things whilst drawing this: One- the text function doesn't work on the site I'm using to draw rn (hence it's handwriting instead, sorry if it's not clear).
Two- the clangers are far cuter than I remember them being and I actually feel kinda bad for making one sad :(
A woman angrily types "I f-ing hate clangers" on her phone (meaning to type "clankers"). Zoom out to show a clanger sat on the same bench as her. The woman (now panicking)- "OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY!! IT WAS A TYPO, A TYPO!!" Tiny Clanger (teary eyed) makes sad slide whistle noises.

As the ominous figure of Miku V6 looms (and her potential vocal conversion feature) it will become increasingly obvious I love the idea of a British (potentially self-hating) Miku.
Anyway, speedpaint (since I'm still using the ms paint emulator that records it automatically)-
Hatsune Miku in a cartoon-ish style. I made her hair shorter because I genuinely can't think of many character designs with hair as long as Miku's. She has dot eyes, and tube limbs (with Beano knees, the one exception to the two influences described in the post).
I tried drawing a British-style Miku (specifically that one art style I expect every kid aims for when their main art influences are Nick Sharratt and The Magic Key) but sadly realising this may be one of those styles with a reputation ruined by AI.
Still, I think I did a good job?

The Ring and Lui suggestion is not mine, merely one I've seen and is actually the least insane idea here given it's a Japanese funding system (they were gonna be Japanese vbs) and the left=Lui, right=Ring thing would be correct. Still, I doubt the necromancy required to bring them back.

Been thinking about how I'd redesign ci flower if I had to and landed on something like this.
It's kinda rough and drawn on that ms paint emulator (again) because my computer is making weird noises (again).

The joke actually kinda works better with Teto's wings because her tail is still kinda evident but it was tail in the original so 🤷

I've an original with Chis-A that I started working on ages ago. It's mostly finished other than a few syllables where I don't like the tuning, but I got bogged down with animating an MV... Now idk which would be better: releasing it in advance of Chis-A English hype or finishing it fully? #VoiSona
Seemingly the site lets you render your drawing history as a gif so here have that too. Watch as I screw up colours a lot from working on a tiny screen and picking the wrong one, and focus way too much on pixel-by-pixel edits (+ possible flashing images warning?)

Update: found a second ms paint emulator. It's a little laggier but it supports the curved line tool, so I can now do closer to the art style I would do on pc (albeit with limited colours)
